Storytelling with Scratch: Bring Your Imagination to Life! (PC: Scratch)  Lesson Plan  My lesson plan centers on using coding (Scratch) to bring students' writing to life. Through this approach, students not only learn writing strategies and enhance their creativity but also use coding as a medium to express their imaginative ideas. The introduction of this lesson serves as a creative way to engage students in imaginative writing. I believe that when students are given the freedom to express themselves, their creativity flourishes. However, I also recognize that having too many options can sometimes overwhelm them. By using an engaging method like drawing from a mystery bag, we can provide them with focused ideas that inspire their writing while keeping the process enjoyable. In the future, I plan to further integrate technology into my teaching, and this lesson plan has been a great starting point. However, the app’s extensive options and settings provide remarkable flexibility, fostering creativity among users. For future teaching, I believe it’s important not to let young students navigate Minecraft entirely on their own. Based on my experience with the app and teaching others, I would create a clear, step-by-step instruction guide to display on the whiteboard for explicit instruction. Inuit: People

Inuit: People  (picture credit: https://guidetogreenland.com/travel-blogs/laali-berthelsen/the-inuit-culture-in-the-arctic/?affiliate=120)  I chose to do the Inuit Community because t he Inuit video series on YouTube has always been my favourite. I was amazed at how smart the Inuit people were and how well they were able to live in the Arctic, especially when it was very cold. What I loved about them was how creatively they used what they had to get the most out of it. In my digital story, I briefly talked about when the Northwest Territory Treaty and  Nunavut Land Claims Agreement were signed.  I also talked about the terms "Inuit, wolf, snow (3 in three different states), hunting, and trout" in the Inuit language and the meaning behind the words.  Lastly, I shared a brief reflection on what I learned from creating a digital story on the Inuit community.  Digital Story: Inuit Community

X/Twitter? OR Google Classroom?

 Here is the link to my X/Twitter: https://x.com/huang9972  I believe that incorporating Twitter into my teaching in the future might be a very effective method to improve community building, communication, and learning with colleagues, parents, and other professional education Gurges. I think it can be a platform that fosters relationship-building. It promotes connection development by connecting with local companies, organizations, and other institutions to form collaborations and offer opportunities for students such as internships, guest speakers, and joint projects. I think Twitter can also be a platform for teachers and students to showcase school projects and accomplishments.  And perhaps most crucially, I believe that the Twitter platform would be an excellent chance to cultivate a constructive understanding of the responsibilities that come with digital citizenship.  However, a question I keep wondering is whether would Twitter be the greatest platform to use with young childr

In the past, ChatGPT has been really useful to me with my research writing assignments. It has broken down large topics into manageable bits and given me innovative concepts and suggestions that I have been able to include in my writing. For example, I had to write an essay on the importance of ecosystems and the efforts made by various cities, provinces, and nations internationally to preserve and restore their different ecosystems. Instead of browsing through hundreds of different websites, I simply asked ChatGPT to give me a list of examples of "successful ecosystem restoration and protection in the world." ChatGPT was able to provide me with a comprehensive list of examples along with a succinct explanation of why each example has been successful. It saved me a great deal of time spent researching. I've also used ChatGPT to come up with writing ideas and pick out a few that captivate me. Then I used the MRU library's looking tool to find scholarly articles to back
